Soul is directed by two-time Oscar winner Pete Docter (Up, Inside Out). Doctor has been acting as Pixar’s chief creative officer following the exit of former creative head John Lasseter.
Soul will be the second of two original Pixar animated movies to release in 2020. Soul will follow Onward which stars Tom Holland and Chris Pratt as a pair of elves in a suburban fantasy world. That movie hits cinemas on March 6, 2020.
Soul is set for release on June 19, 2020.
