With Endgame in cinemas fans have been questioning when Marvel Studios would be announcing its plans for Phase 4.
It was recently confirmed that Spider-Man: Far From Home will officially close out Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Many had believed that Avengers: Endgame, currently in cinemas, would close out this last batch of movies.
Disney CEO, Bob Iger, has now commented on when the studio plans to announce what comes next for it’s multi-billion-dollar franchise.
According to Variety Iger confirmed during a conference call with investors that Marvel plans to announce Phase 4 over the summer, potentially at Comic-Con International in San Diego this July or at D23 Expo in Anaheim this August.
“There are huge opportunities,” Iger declared during the call. “There are many many different directions that we can go.”
Disney just announced a huge release slate which takes us right through to 2027!
