Rachel Skarsten joins the cast of BATWOMAN

Rachel Skarsten

The Batwoman TV series is gearing up to begin production on its pilot. Directed by David Nutter the pilot is expected to shoot in early Spring with a view to the series debuting later in the year.

Overnight a very familiar face to fans of DCTV has announced that they have joined the cast. Rachel Skarsten, known to fans as 2002’s Dinah in Birds of Prey, will be taking on the role of the villainous Alice.

In DC Comics, Alice is actually Elizabeth, the twin sister of Kate Kane. We don’t know yet if this will be the case on the series.

Skarsten announced the casting herself on her social media channels.

Birds of Prey ran for one season back in 2002. Though short lived it maintains a cult following thanks to DVD and streaming releases.
