The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise has had a rocky road on the big screen. The 2014 live-action movie was warmly received but under performed at the box office whilst it’s 2016 sequel made even less money.
But now it seems the franchise could be preparing to make a comeback. A Quiet Place producers Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller are working to get a new movie in to production in 2019.
Michael Bay is still involved with the project via his Platinum Dunes production company which Form and Fuller are also involved with.
Speaking on the red carpet at the Critics Choice Awards Fuller and Form said they “have dates we are trying to hit, that’s all.”
Could a new movie go in to production soon? You can see the full interview in the tweet below.
