Warner Bros. releases first trailer for DETECTIVE PIKACHU

Detective Pikachu (Warner Bros.)

Surprise! Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for Detective Pikachu and we can guarantee it’s not what you were expecting.

The two-and-a-half-minute trailer really gives a flavour of what to expect when the movie lands in theatres in May next year. We were particularly intrigued how Ryan Reynolds would be able to voice the titular character but it’s explained pretty well here.

There’s some really interesting scenery to see as humans and Pokemon live together in the city. Though there’s a lot more to learn about the story what we do get to see here is really intriguing.

Check out the first trailer in the player below!

Detective Pikachu arrives in cinemas May 10, 2019. The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton and Ken Watanabe.
