Last night Titans made its debut to a packed crowd at New York Comic Con. The cast and crew of the show were on hand for a panel and the first two episodes of the show were aired. Later today the review embargo will finally lift on DC Universe’s first live-action series.
In the meantime we have some exciting news. It was confirmed during the panel discussion that the series WILL have a second season.
Executive producer Geoff Johns weighed in on the topic saying “I think that shows the faith that DC Universe has in the show and in this amazing cast here and the property, DC is so supportive of it.”
“We know Season 2 already,” said Johns. “We know everything. We actually know all the characters for Season 2. We know the story of Season 2. Marv Wolfman will be very happy with Season 2.”
The decision may have something to do with the lucrative new deal with Netflix to air the show internationally.
Check back later today for the first reviews of the series.
