Thanks to teases from star Brie Larson and EW we knew that something Captain Marvel was coming today. Now the big reveal is here!
As expected the magazine first debuted the cover of this weeks issue featuring the first official photo of Larson in costume.
Rather than the green and blue version seen in set photos we finally get to see the classic red, blue and gold costume in action. Shortly thereafter the magazine released a gallery of first look images from the movie.
You can check out all the images below!
“She can’t help but be herself,” actress Brie Larson explains to EW. “She can be aggressive, and she can have a temper, and she can be a little invasive and in your face. She’s also quick to jump to things, which makes her amazing in battle because she’s the first one out there and doesn’t always wait for orders. But the [not] waiting for orders is, to some, a character flaw.”
In the gallery below we get further looks at Larson in both versions of her costume. We also get first looks a Jude Law as Captain Mar-vell, Samuel L. Jackson as a young (two-eyed) Nick Fury and the returning Lee Pace as Ronin.
