Kevin Feige is certainly doing the rounds at the moment. The Marvel guru is currently promoting Ant-Man and The Wasp around the globe.
Yesterday we brought you the news that he has confirmed the news that Tom Holland’s second Spidey film will be called Spider-Man: Far From Home. Now the studio executive has been discussing the films setting.
We’ve heard rumours for a while now that Peter/Spidey will be travelling Europe throughout the film. Though until now we’ve had no context to understand what would take the native New Yorker out of his familiar territory.
Website io9 is quoting Feige as saying:
“Well, when does that movie take place? We know it’s the summer. I think it’s summer vacation. I think he’s going to Europe with his friends. I don’t know what summer… I mean, I do know [but you don’t].”
Actually when you think about it that makes perfect (and quite simple) sense…
