BLACK PANTHER (and WONDER WOMAN) wins big at MTV Movie Awards

Despite stiff competition Black Panther swept the board at this weeks MTV Movie Awards.

Whilst Avengers: Infinity War was nominated in the Best Movie, Best Villain and Best Fight categories the film walked away with nothing. The night belonged to Chadwick Boseman and the cast of Black Panther as they walked away with four awards between them.

The film picked up the award for Best Movie, Best Hero and Best Performance for Chadwick Boseman and Best Villain for Michael B. Jordan.

One category where Black Panther failed to take the title was Best Fight. That award went to Gal Gadot fighting the Nazi’s in Wonder Woman!

Stranger Things also had a successful night picking up awards for Best Show, Best Performance in a Show for Millie Bobby Brown and Most Frightened Performance for Noah Schapp. Mike and Eleven’s dance to “Every Breath You Take” also won the award for Best Musical Moment.

All-in-all the comics inspired genre walked away with awards in 17 categories.
