Whilst the focus of many cinema goers are the upcoming Marvel offerings of Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War another franchise is prepping to drop a new movie. Pacific Rim: Uprising has slowly been putting out marketing materials ahead of its March release date.

Last night Universal Pictures released the third and final trailer for the film. Featuring a tonne of new footage we’ve got a much better idea about what to expect from the sequel. Check out the trailer in the player below and come back later today for an exclusive screen shot gallery.

Pacific Rim: Uprising is directed by Steven S. DeKnight based on a script by Guillermo del Toro, Zack Penn, John Spaihts, Derek Connolly, Emily Carmichael, Kira Snyder and T.S. Nowlin. The film stars John Boyega, Scott Eastwood, Cailee Spaeny, Jing Tian and Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day and Burn Gorman.

The film hits cinemas on March 23, 2018.
